After a week of 80+ degree weather (and 2 or 3 more scheduled), the poor trees seem clueless that this is the time that the whole world travels to Vermont to enjoy their color. We are hoping that the strange weather will not kill all the color when things cool down on the weekend! We shall see.
Ellen says her flowers up here are also confused and sent a couple photos so you can see what she is talking about. This first one is from her “Woodlands Garden”…
This next one is from her “Stone Wall Garden” back by the garage…
Since philip was hanging around up here just to experience the foliage… we had some serious dialogue about leaving Shadow Lake earlier… the new plan is to leave here on October 5th. Meanwhile, my huffy/puffy existence is a mix of good days and bad days… I continue to work at putting my legs up to drain the water… my huge variations of weight have stopped and I am regularly going down a pound or two a week now… this week I dropped to 194… my newest “lowest weight” in my adult life… I have also stopped my Home Health visits… and scheduled my final appointment with Dr Kiely this Wednesday… looking forward to hearing where he thinks I am at in my health journey with this congestive heart failure.
I’ll give you an update tomorrow on the progress on the Battlefield… we have been enjoying all the new things the Lord has shown me…. especially the results…. 🙂
